2. Vehicle Sales
2.1 Vehicle Information
All vehicles listed for sale are pre-owned and sold as seen. We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date descriptions, including mileage, service history, and condition. However, we recommend that customers conduct their own inspections or arrange independent evaluations.
2.2 Vehicle Availability
Vehicles listed are subject to availability. A vehicle is not considered sold until a deposit has been received and a formal sales agreement has been signed.
2.3 Deposits & Payments
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a vehicle.
- Full payment must be completed before the release of the vehicle.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, debit/credit card, or approved finance agreement.
2.4 Warranty
Vehicles may come with a limited dealer warranty or be sold “as-is” depending on the age and mileage. Full warranty details will be provided at the time of sale.
3. Finance Services
3.1 Finance Eligibility
Finance is subject to approval by third-party lenders. Applicants must be 18 years or older, be a permanent resident/Citizen of New Zealand or have a valid work visa, a Valid Drivers License and provide valid identification and proof of income. Lender’s Lending Criteria Applies*.
3.2 Finance Terms
We act as a credit broker/introducer, not a lender. Finance agreements are between the customer and the chosen finance provider. NZWAKA LIMITED is not responsible for any contractual disputes with lenders.
3.3 Representative APR
The Representative Annual Percentage Rate (APR) varies depending on credit status, vehicle value, and lender criteria. Full terms of any finance offer will be provided before any agreement is signed.
4. Insurance Products
4.1 Third-Party Products
Insurance services may be provided by third-party insurers. NZWAKA LIMITED does not underwrite insurance products but may earn a commission for referrals.
4.2 Policy Details
All insurance products are subject to terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions as outlined in the policy documents provided by the insurer.
5. Cancellations & Returns
5.1 Vehicle Returns
Due to the nature of used car sales, returns are not generally accepted unless required by consumer law. A cooling-off period may apply for finance or insurance contracts as per the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or equivalent regulator.
5.2 Finance or Insurance Cancellation
Customers have the right to cancel finance or insurance agreements within the statutory cooling-off period . Please refer to your individual agreement for exact terms.
6. Limitation of Liability
NZWAKA LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our vehicles, finance, or insurance products. Our total liability in any matter related to the purchase of a vehicle shall not exceed the purchase price paid.
